Server upgraded and some small homepage adjustments

We've migrated the server to a faster machine now which should speed-up the page significantly. It also paves the way for some upcoming extensions to the page.

As part of the move we also updated Debian from 6.0 LTS to 7.5 which included several other updates/improvements (including an updated MySQL backend to 5.5.37).

Several tweaks/fixes were done behind the scene which also solves a couple of issues with the homepage (for instance ImageMagick which is used by the CMS (Typo3) was not working for several monthes).

Last but not least navigation in the navigation tree was improved, so that previously empty pages now refer to the actual content page.

Server configuration clean-up.

Some post Debian 6.0 update changes were done, to prepare Debian for a planned 7.0 update.

MySQL updated to 5.1.73

MySQL was just updated from 5.0.32 to 5.1.73 containing bugfixes and new features.

Server updated to Debian 6 LTS

The server was just updated to Debian 6 LTS, which contains a few security related fixes.

Updated Typo3 extensions

DAM updated from 1.3.2 to 1.3.3 (contains some bugfixes)
ttNews 3.5.1 -> 3.6.0 (contains some security, bugfixes and a few new features)
Universal page browser 1.3.3 -> 1.3.4 (contains some bugfixes)

Also adjusted some settings to workaround some issues (mostly with file handling).

Upgrade to Typo3 4.5.34

Typo3 has just been updated to 4.5.34 which contains several security fixes and a bugfix.

Upgrade to Typo3 4.5.33

Typo3 has just been updated to 4.5.33 which contains some bugfixes.

As part of the update also the backend part on the server was updated to solve some problems with Typo3-updates.

Server updated to Debian 6.0.9

The server was just updated to the latest Debian 6.0 version (6.0.9) which contains a few fixes.

Roadmap for the upcoming days.

The following days I plan to bring up a couple of further information on X Rebirth. Here's the current plan:

- complete X Rebirth Beta and Alpha changelogs (Beta 1, Alpha 7.1, Alpha 7.0, Alpha 6.2, Alpha 6.1, Alpha 5.2, Alpha 5.1, Alpha 5, Alpha 4, Alpha 3, Alpha 2, Alpha 1)
- bring the current changelog up-to date (at the time of writing this that would be 1.18, 1.19, 1.20, 1.21, 1.22 RC2)
- split-up the grown changelog into separate pages (one per version)
- depict a couple of the changes done during these versions (including some screenshots from earlier versions of the game)
- add description of the changelog categories and an overview of the terminology used

At that point the X Rebirth changelog section could be seen as completed and will be updated with newly released versions.

Following-up this work, focus will be put on some other part of the webpage and projects.

Information for Beta 1.3 was completed and the changelogs were Beta 1.1 and 1.2 were added.
